Multicultural Music/Curricular Modes
Please watch the following Prezi about the use of multicultural music in the elementary classroom:
This week, your assignment revolves around reading a handout on the different modes of instruction in music education. You have to provide a summary of Orff-Schulwerk, Kodaly, and Dalcroze. Find a video example of each type of lesson and watch it in its entirety. Post the three videos on your blog and compare and contrast each lesson. What was similar and what was different? How were the children interacting? What are some benefits of each approach?
